President Xi sends congratulatory letter to 2024 China International Fair for Trade in Services that reflects development of China’s service industry.
Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory letter to the 2024 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) on Thursday.
In his letter, Xi highlighted that CIFTIS, now in its 10th year, reflects the strong development of China’s service industry and trade, contributing to the creation of an open global economy.
Xi emphasized that China will advance high-quality development through greater openness, by improving mechanisms, enhancing service trade, aligning with international trade standards, and expanding its service market to the world, creating a business environment that is market-oriented, law-based, and international.
He further expressed China’s readiness to collaborate with other countries to share opportunities, strengthen cooperation, and promote global economic growth and prosperity.
The 2024 CIFTIS, themed “Global Services, Shared Prosperity,” began in Beijing on Thursday.
