Chinese President Xi Jinping held a meeting with Muhammad Yunus, the Chief Adviser of Bangladesh’s interim government, in Beijing on Friday.
Highlighting the deep-rooted friendly ties between the two nations, Xi stated that China and Bangladesh have consistently supported each other and maintained an equal and cooperative relationship since the establishment of diplomatic relations.
Xi emphasized China’s stable and consistent approach to its friendly policy toward Bangladesh, reaffirming its role as a reliable neighbor, friend, and partner.
With 2024 marking the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations and 2025 designated as the year of people-to-people exchanges, Xi expressed China’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with Bangladesh and enhancing mutual benefits for both nations.
