Xi Jinping extends congratulations on DPRK’s 76th founding anniversary acknowledging progress under the WPK’s leadership.
Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory message to Kim Jong Un, leader of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK) and President of State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), on the 76th anniversary of the DPRK’s founding.
In the message, Xi acknowledged that under the WPK’s leadership, the DPRK has made significant progress over the past 76 years, with its people working together to advance national development.
Xi noted that in recent years, Kim Jong Un has guided the DPRK’s Party and people in implementing the WPK’s 8th Congress principles, achieving several milestones in national development.
Xi expressed confidence that, under Kim’s leadership, the DPRK would continue to achieve new successes in its unique model of socialism.
He emphasized the longstanding friendship between China and the DPRK, noting the importance of the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations and the “China-DPRK Friendship Year.”
Xi also stressed China’s commitment to deepening strategic communication and cooperation with the DPRK, with the aim of strengthening their traditional ties, advancing socialism, and contributing to regional peace and prosperity.
