Chinese President Xi Jinping extended his congratulations to Karol Nawrocki on being elected as the President of Poland on Friday.
In his message, Xi highlighted that Poland was among the earliest nations to recognize and establish diplomatic relations with the People’s Republic of China. He noted that the two countries share a long-standing friendship and maintain a comprehensive strategic partnership.
Reflecting on the 76 years of diplomatic relations, Xi pointed out that China and Poland have upheld mutual respect and equality, leading to substantial progress in a wide range of cooperative fields that benefit both nations.
Given the current complex and changing global environment, Xi emphasized the importance of further strengthening political trust and strategic communication between the two countries as friendly partners.
Xi reaffirmed his commitment to advancing China-Poland relations and expressed his willingness to collaborate with President Nawrocki to ensure the continued growth of their strategic partnership, deliver shared benefits, and contribute to global peace and stability.
