Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi highlights China’s diplomatic progress and global role as he met journalists.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with journalists from both domestic and international media on Friday to discuss China’s foreign policy and international relations. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the third session of the 14th National People’s Congress.
Wang, who is also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, highlighted that 2024 witnessed significant shifts in the global landscape.
Reflecting on China’s diplomatic achievements over the past year, he stated that the country has made notable progress in fostering a favorable external environment for its high-quality development. Additionally, China has contributed to global stability amid turbulent times and taken concrete steps toward building a community with a shared future for humanity.
Emphasizing the consistency of China’s diplomatic mission, Wang reaffirmed that China will continue to work with other nations to uphold justice, guide the course of the era, defend international fairness, and promote global peace and stability.
