The expanding use of DeepSeek across industries drives innovation and technological growth.

As artificial intelligence continues to advance, DeepSeek, a prominent Chinese open-source large language model, is driving digital transformation across various industries. From education and creative fields to telecommunications and government services, DeepSeek is reshaping business operations and everyday tasks.

The growing adoption of DeepSeek is evident, with global tech giants like Microsoft, AWS, and Nvidia integrating it into their ecosystems. Microsoft recently announced that DeepSeek-R1 is now accessible through Azure AI Foundry and GitHub, marking a significant step in its global expansion. Other cloud service providers and semiconductor companies have also joined the movement.

In China, numerous companies are incorporating DeepSeek into their applications. NetEase Youdao utilizes it for intelligent Q&A and creative assistance, improving efficiency in education and content creation. Similarly, Yuewen Group has integrated DeepSeek into its writer assistant tool, helping authors refine and optimize their work.

DeepSeek’s user base is rapidly growing, surpassing 30 million daily active users. China’s leading telecom companies—China Telecom, China Mobile, and China Unicom—have embedded DeepSeek models into their services. For instance, China Telecom’s Tianyi Cloud uses it for automated meeting summaries, improving workflow efficiency. China Mobile has incorporated the model into its cloud computing platform, enabling users to create AI-powered solutions. Meanwhile, China Unicom employs DeepSeek for programming support, enhancing coding productivity.

Beyond the corporate sector, DeepSeek is also transforming government services. Shenzhen’s Longgang District Government has adopted DeepSeek-R1 for digital innovation, making it the first local government in Guangdong to do so.

DeepSeek’s success is attributed to its efficient algorithms and open-source nature, which reduce dependence on high-end GPUs and promote domestic chip development. This advancement creates new opportunities in sectors such as cloud computing and smart technologies. As DeepSeek gains traction, it is emerging as a vital tool for businesses and governments worldwide, offering intelligent and efficient solutions.
