A terrorist attack in Balochistan’s provincial capital, Quetta, claimed the lives of three police officers and left one injured late Wednesday night, as confirmed by local police.
The assault took place when unknown individuals on a motorcycle opened fire on a police vehicle transporting the officers.
The gunfire killed three policemen instantly, while the fourth officer sustained critical injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital for urgent care.
The perpetrators fled the area immediately after carrying out the attack.
Police have sealed off the location and launched a detailed investigation into the incident.
No group has come forward to claim responsibility for the attack so far.
