Sindh CM Lauds Positive Impact of CPEC and Belt and Road Initiative on Development and Collaboration

Sindh Chief Minister Maqbool Baqar has praised the constructive influence of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and the One Belt One Road initiative on human development in Pakistan.

Speaking at an event in Karachi, he highlighted the commitment of these projects to fostering shared development paths with other nations, emphasizing the heightened connectivity between Pakistan and China. Furthermore, Chief Minister Baqar viewed the recent visit of the Chinese Navy fleet to Karachi as a step toward strengthening cooperation between the naval forces of both nations, contributing to regional peace and security.

Addressing a gathering organized by the Chinese Consul General in Karachi, Chief Minister Maqbool Baqar expressed confidence that CPEC and the One Belt One Road initiative will elevate human development in Pakistan. He underscored that the essence of the CPEC project lies in its collaborative approach to development with other nations.

Chief Minister Baqar highlighted the existing connection between the people of Pakistan and China, characterized by mutual respect, love, and brotherhood. With the implementation of CPEC, this connectivity has significantly reduced the distances involved in travel, development, and cooperation.

Regarding the recent visit of the Chinese Navy fleet to Karachi, Chief Minister Baqar emphasized its potential to enhance cooperation between the naval forces of Pakistan and China. He noted that such visits play a crucial role in promoting peace and security in the region.
