The crew on board of China’s Shenzhou-19 spacecraft conducted a handover ceremony with the Shenzhou-20 crew on Sunday, officially passing over the keys to the country’s space station.
Having completed all their scheduled missions, the Shenzhou-19 astronauts are set to return to Earth aboard their spacecraft, landing at the Dongfeng site in north China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region on April 29, as announced by the China Manned Space Agency.
Currently, final preparations are actively underway across all involved systems and at the landing site to ensure a smooth and safe return for the astronauts.
