Prime Minister Kakar’s Beijing Visit: Strengthening Pakistan’s Infrastructure and Collaboration with China.

Prime Minister Anwaar ul Haq Kakar is actively pursuing infrastructure development across Pakistan, and his recent visit to Beijing underscores the government’s commitment to this goal. During his visit, PM Kakar engaged in essential discussions with top executives from Chinese companies, highlighting the significance of railway and road infrastructure for both Pakistan’s development and its growing tourism industry.

In a meeting with Mr. Wang Haihuai, CEO of China Communications Construction Company, and Mr. Du Fei, Chairman of China Road and Bridge Corporation, Prime Minister Kakar emphasized the crucial role of robust railway and road infrastructure in Pakistan. This infrastructure not only serves as a backbone for the nation’s development but is also pivotal for fostering tourism growth in the country.

During the discussions, the Chinese executives provided an overview of the ongoing projects undertaken by China Communications Construction Company and China Road and Bridge Corporation in Pakistan as part of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). These projects play a vital role in enhancing connectivity and improving Pakistan’s overall infrastructure.

The Chinese companies expressed a keen interest in expanding their investments in Pakistan, encompassing infrastructure, construction, renewable energy, and various other sectors. This increased commitment to investment signifies China’s continued support and belief in Pakistan’s potential for growth and development.

Prime Minister Kakar warmly welcomed the eagerness of Chinese companies to boost their investments in Pakistan. Such collaborations not only enhance Pakistan’s infrastructure but also strengthen the longstanding friendship and economic partnership between the two nations.

In conclusion, Prime Minister Anwaar ul Haq Kakar’s visit to Beijing highlights the government’s dedication to infrastructure development in Pakistan. The support and investment from Chinese companies, particularly in crucial sectors like transportation and tourism, hold the potential to drive the country’s progress and open new avenues for cooperation between Pakistan and China.
