President Xi Jinping has stressed the importance of fostering stronger unity between the military and government, as well as between the military and the civilian population. He highlighted the necessity of maintaining the Communist Party of China’s overall leadership, pushing forward reforms and innovation, and refining related policies and systems.
Xi, who also serves as General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, issued these instructions recently. His message was delivered during a national conference held on Wednesday to recognize cities and counties that have excelled in strengthening civil-military cooperation.
