President, PM condemn Khuzdar school bus attack in separate statements expressing their grief and sorrow.
President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have unequivocally denounced a brutal attack carried out by Indian-backed terrorist elements on a school bus in Khuzdar, Balochistan.
Both leaders, in their respective statements, expressed deep sorrow and grief over the tragic loss of three young students and two teachers in the incident, offering heartfelt condolences to the grieving families.
President Zardari, in his statement, described the assault on schoolchildren as a vile act and a blatant crime against humanity. He accused India of supporting terrorism within Pakistan and affirmed that such state-sponsored aggression will be countered decisively. He reiterated the government’s determination to dismantle all terrorist networks operating with Indian support.
The President further emphasized that the terrorist agenda seeks to obstruct education, hinder Pakistan’s development, and sabotage peace in Balochistan.
He stated that these militants are enemies of progress and humanity, and he pledged that India’s role in sponsoring terrorism will be exposed globally. He also offered prayers for the martyrs and strength for their families.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, expressing solidarity with the victims’ families, ordered swift action to apprehend the perpetrators and ensure justice is served.
He instructed authorities to prioritize medical care for the injured and condemned the targeting of schoolchildren as a reflection of terrorists’ deep-rooted hostility toward education in Balochistan.
The Prime Minister asserted that attacking a school bus demonstrates the terrorists’ extreme barbarism and their mission to destabilize peace in the province.
He vowed that those behind such heinous acts, nurtured under Indian patronage, will face justice. Shehbaz Sharif reassured the nation that the government and armed forces are fully committed to eradicating terrorism and preserving national unity and peace.
