Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif is set to attend the two-day 17th Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Summit being held in Baku, Azerbaijan, starting today.
This year’s summit is centered around the theme “New ECO Vision for a Sustainable and Climate Resilient Future,” highlighting the organization’s focus on regional sustainability and climate resilience.
At the summit, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will lead Pakistan’s delegation and present the country’s viewpoint on pressing regional and global issues.
He is expected to reaffirm Pakistan’s dedication to the ECO Vision 2025 and emphasize the importance of boosting intra-regional trade, enhancing transport and energy cooperation, and promoting sustainable development across member states.
On the sidelines of the summit, Shehbaz Sharif will also hold bilateral meetings with other ECO leaders to discuss areas of shared interest and strengthen diplomatic ties.
