Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has embarked on a four-day official visit to Saudi Arabia, accompanied by a high-level delegation, including Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, along with federal ministers and senior officials.
During his visit, the Prime Minister is set to meet Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman to explore ways to strengthen trade, expand cooperation in key sectors, and foster greater economic collaboration between the two nations.
Discussions will also cover topics of mutual interest, including global and regional developments, with a focus on the Gaza situation, shifting Middle East dynamics, and broader issues concerning the Muslim Ummah.
Foreign Office Spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan emphasized that the visit highlights the historically strong ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. It is expected to enhance trade and investment cooperation while promoting deeper diplomatic coordination on bilateral, regional, and global affairs.
