 PM Kakar Departs for China to Participate in Belt and Road Forum

Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar is commencing a four-day trip to China to join the third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation in Beijing, commencing on October 17.

During his visit, he will attend the opening ceremony, address a high-level forum on global connectivity, and engage in bilateral discussions with Chinese leaders and other participants.

The Prime Minister will underscore the accomplishments and future priorities of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and reiterate Pakistan’s dedication to its high-quality development.

Additionally, he will interact with Chinese entrepreneurs to enhance bilateral trade and investment and travel to Urumqi to strengthen trade, investment, and people-to-people relations, coinciding with the tenth anniversary of the CPEC project.
