Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir are set to make an urgent visit to Quetta on Wednesday.
According to the PM Office Media Wing, they will receive a detailed briefing on the terrorist attack in Khuzdar that targeted schoolgirls and teachers, reportedly orchestrated under Indian patronage.
Both leaders are also expected to visit and check on the health and recovery of the individuals injured in the incident.
The statement further mentioned that the ceremony scheduled for Wednesday evening at Aiwan-e-Sadr to honour Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has been postponed at his own request in light of the Khuzdar tragedy.
