Universities in Haripur and Sargodha celebrated the Chinese New Year with ceremonies emphasizing cultural exchange and academic cooperation between Pakistan and China. The events featured certificate distributions for students completing Chinese language courses and activities promoting cross-cultural understanding.
At the University of Haripur, students received certificates after completing Chinese language training, reflecting the growing importance of Chinese language skills for education and career opportunities linked to Pakistan-China cooperation. Officials said such initiatives help prepare students for international academic engagement.
Meanwhile, the University of Sargodha inaugurated a Chinese Resource Lounge to support language learning and cultural studies. University leaders noted that these programs strengthen educational partnerships and deepen people-to-people ties between the two countries.
