Pakistan wishes to connect China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) with the European Union (EU), said Pakistani Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry on Friday afternoon.
Speaking to the journalists at the Badin Press Club, the minister said by connecting CPEC with EU, economic activity in the region will get a major boost. He said: “This is only possible if there is peace in Afghanistan. Pakistan wishes to connect CPEC with the European Union.”
Fawad Chaudhry said CPEC had become an essential part of Pakistan’s progress and the projects under this mega plan will be given adequate security. “We want Pakistan to grow with CPEC. China has always stood by us. CPEC is a matchless plan,” he added.
