Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the sidelines of the 17th ECO Summit held in Khankendi, Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, the two leaders conducted a thorough review of the bilateral relationship and shared perspectives on important regional matters.
They expressed a strong commitment to advancing ties between Pakistan and Turkiye across all key areas of cooperation.
Both leaders stressed the importance of enhancing collaboration in trade, defense, energy, connectivity, and investment, and agreed to facilitate the exchange of high-level delegations to swiftly implement their mutual agreements.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed Pakistan’s firm dedication to partnering with Turkiye to promote peace, stability, and sustainable development across the region.
