Pakistan to establish Data, Cloud Center with $700M Chinese investment as the project was discussed by a Chinese delegation in a meeting with CM Punjab.
Pakistan is set to launch its first e-commerce platform and establish a data and cloud center with Chinese support, backed by a confirmed $700 million investment. This initiative will also include the creation of a computing center within the Nawaz Sharif I.T. City.
A high-level Chinese delegation discussed the project in a meeting with Punjab’s Chief Minister, Maryam Nawaz, at Punjab House.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz emphasized the objective of transforming Punjab into a center for Artificial Intelligence through collaboration with China.
She expressed optimism that Punjab will soon emerge as a regional I.T. hub, underscoring the strengthening partnership between Pakistan and China in the technology sector.
