Pakistan and Saudi Arabia agreed to enhance cooperation in security and counterterrorism during a meeting between Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry and Saudi Deputy Interior Minister Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Ayyaf in Riyadh.
The discussions come after both countries signed a bilateral defense pact last year, formalizing long-standing military relations and strengthening strategic coordination.
Officials emphasized continued engagement between the two countries to promote peace and stability in the region, while Pakistan also participated in the World Defense Show 2026 in Riyadh.
