Pakistan rejects Indian PM’s provocative remarks

Pakistan rejects Indian PM’s provocative remarks that he made during a speech in Rajasthan recently.

Pakistan has strongly dismissed the unfounded, provocative, and reckless accusations made by the Indian Prime Minister in a recent speech delivered in Rajasthan.

According to a statement issued by the Foreign Office on Friday, the comments were filled with distortions and inflammatory language, clearly intended to incite regional unrest for political advantage.

The statement emphasized that such remarks not only mislead the public but also go against the standards of responsible diplomacy. Making threats and boasting about military actions against another sovereign nation violates the UN Charter and international legal norms, endangering peace and stability in the region.

Pakistan reiterated its longstanding and active role in the global campaign against terrorism. The statement rejected any suggestion linking Pakistan to terrorism as false and deceptive, describing it as a tactic India frequently uses to deflect attention from its domestic issues, especially its oppressive measures in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

It added that India’s ongoing efforts to shift focus away from its grave human rights abuses in IIOJK by blaming Pakistan are well-known and increasingly acknowledged internationally. The genuine aspirations of the Kashmiri people for self-determination cannot be silenced by aggressive rhetoric or political distractions.

The Foreign Office called on Indian leaders to act responsibly and avoid provocative behavior. Escalating tensions through inflammatory language only worsens the situation. Instead of fabricating threats for electoral purposes, India should pursue mature and peaceful resolution of disputes through diplomacy and dialogue.

The statement further noted that Pakistan remains committed to peace, regional stability, and constructive dialogue. However, this commitment should not be mistaken for weakness. The people and armed forces of Pakistan are fully capable of defending the nation’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

It warned that any hostile action or military adventurism would receive a firm and proportional response. Pakistan has shown its determination in the past and is prepared to do so again if necessary.

Finally, the Foreign Office called on the global community to take serious note of India’s aggressive stance and hate-fueled rhetoric, which jeopardize regional peace. It stressed that promoting hostility serves no one’s interest, and true, lasting peace can only be achieved through dialogue, mutual respect, and adherence to international law.
