Pakistan pine nuts continued to dominate demand in the Chinese market during 2025, with Beijing emerging as the top destination for imports. Official data from China’s General Administration of Customs shows that Beijing imported over 758,000 kilograms of Pakistani pine nuts valued at US$11.72 million.
Other regions, including Zhejiang Province and Shanghai, also recorded imports, indicating expanding demand across China. However, Beijing maintained a clear lead in both volume and value, supported by strong retail presence and established trade channels.
Pakistani pine nuts also gained popularity during the Chinese New Year season, drawing attention at major trade fairs in Beijing. Experts believe that improved logistics, quality consistency, and promotional efforts can further strengthen Pakistan’s position in China’s premium dry fruit market.
