A memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed between the Chinese company AI Force Tech and the Punjab Agriculture Department of Pakistan to establish a robotic agricultural equipment manufacturing facility in Punjab.
The signing ceremony took place during the week-long China visit of Punjab’s Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, held from December 8th to 15th, with her in attendance as a key witness.
During discussions with AI Force Tech founder Dr. Han and its CEO, the Chief Minister highlighted Punjab’s ongoing agricultural reforms. She also inspected advanced robotic agricultural tools and assured the company of her government’s full support in setting up the manufacturing plant in Punjab.
Expressing her commitment to modernizing agriculture, the Chief Minister said, “We are determined to improve the prosperity of farmers by integrating modern agricultural technology.” She added that a delegation from AI Force Tech would visit Punjab soon at her invitation to advance the initiative.
