RAWALPINDI – Commander of Chinese People’s Liberation Army Ground Forces, General Li Qiaoming called on Chief of the Pakistan Army, General Asim Munir, at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi, ISPR said.
Inter-Services Public Relations said the meeting focused on discussing matters of mutual interest, regional security, military training, and ways to strengthen bilateral defense cooperation.
Two military leaders commanded each other’s efforts in combating terrorism and extremism, and expressed their gratitude for the strong brotherhood between their countries.
General Li Qiaoming also paid respects at the Yadgar-e-Shuhada memorial and was presented with a ceremonial guard of honor by the Pakistan Army.
