ISLAMABAD, May 23 – The China Study Centre (CSC) at the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) has invited applications from Pakistani candidates to avail scholarships offered by leading Chinese universities.
A deputy director at CSC, speaking to Gwadar Pro under the condition of anonymity, revealed that the top universities in China are offering undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral scholarships for Pakistani students across a variety of disciplines. The official added that the Centre will assist candidates from NUST as well as other Pakistani universities in processing their applications for the scholarships to maximize their chances of seizing this opportunity.
The deadline for submitting applications to NUST for the scholarships is June 5, she stated.
According to an update posted by NUST, undergraduate students can avail scholarships in Law, History, Chinese Language, Financial Engineering, Business Administration, Accounting, Mechanical Design, Manufacturing and Automation, Computer Science and Technology, MBS, and Biology.
Postgraduate scholarships have been offered in disciplines including Law, Port and Shipping Technology, Management Engineering, Aquaculture, Chinese History, MBA, and Food Science and Engineering.
Postdoctoral scholarships include the fields of Human Movement Science, Mechanics, Aquaculture, Fishery Facilitation and Equipment, Offshore Engineering and Dynamics, Bioprospecting of Aquatic Resources, Communication and Information Systems, Physical Electronics, Micro-nano Electronics and ICs, as well as Clinical Medicines.
