New air route links China’s Xi’an with Vietnam as Chinese Eastern Airlines inaugurated a flight route.
On Friday, China Eastern Airlines inaugurated a direct flight route connecting Xi’an, the capital of Shaanxi Province in northwest China, with Hanoi, Vietnam.
The outbound flights leave Xi’an Xianyang International Airport at 5:10 p.m. Beijing time, arriving in Hanoi at 6:55 p.m. local time. The return flights depart from Hanoi at 8:15 p.m. local time, reaching Xi’an at 11:55 p.m. Beijing time, with a flight time of around two hours and 40 minutes.
These round-trip flights will operate twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays. This new route is part of Xi’an Xianyang International Airport’s broader strategy to expand its international connections and enhance Xi’an’s status as a global aviation hub.
