India pursuing state-sponsored terrorism against Pakistan: DG ISPR stated recently while giving an interview.
Director General ISPR, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, has said that India is adopting state-sponsored terrorism as a deliberate and official policy to destabilize Pakistan.
In an interview with Al Jazeera, he said India’s actions are part of a calculated strategy, with a particular focus on creating unrest in the province of Balochistan.
He explained that within Pakistan’s military and media discourse, the term “Khawarij” is now commonly used to describe armed groups that attack the state and its institutions. Citing Islamic principles, he emphasized that only the state has the legitimate authority to declare jihad, and no individual or group has the right to do so. He added that such extremist groups, referred to as Fitna al-Khawarij, have no connection with Islam, humanity, or Pakistan’s cultural values.
Lieutenant General Chaudhry also described “Fitna al-Hindustan” as a term for India-backed terrorists, especially those operating in Balochistan. He identified Indian National Security Advisor Ajit Doval as the architect of this campaign and noted that India’s political leadership has openly admitted to supporting terrorist activities inside Pakistan.
He further pointed out that international actors, including the United States and Canada, have acknowledged India’s involvement in transnational terrorism.
On the issue of Israeli aggression towards Iran, the DG ISPR expressed Pakistan’s full political and diplomatic support for Iran.
Addressing concerns about Pakistan’s nuclear program, he assured that it is fully secure and strongly safeguarded, stating that no country would dare attempt to challenge or target it.
