The Chinese Embassy in Myanmar reported that as of 11:00 AM Beijing time (0300 GMT) on Friday, the devastating earthquake in Myanmar had claimed the lives of five Chinese nationals and left 13 others injured.
According to Myanmar Radio and Television, the death toll from the 7.9-magnitude earthquake has climbed to 3,145, with 4,589 people injured and 221 still unaccounted for as of Thursday.
