Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar held a meeting in Beijing on Tuesday with Liu Jianchao, the Minister of the International Department of the Communist Party of China.
During the meeting, Dar expressed his gratitude for China’s consistent and strong support for Pakistan’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and matters of vital national interest.
Liu reaffirmed that China, as a steadfast strategic partner and close friend, would continue to give high importance to its relationship with Pakistan.
The two sides also agreed on enhancing cooperation and strengthening ties between Pakistan’s political parties and the Communist Party of China (CPC).
