Environmental experts have stressed the urgent need for stricter regulations to reduce the harmful impacts of coal mining in Tharparkar.
The two-day international conference, titled “CPEC Energy Infrastructure and Socio-Economic Changes: Challenges, Opportunities, and Sustainable Development,” wrapped up at Sindh Agriculture University (SAU) in Tando Jam.
Experts from both national and international backgrounds shared recommendations focused on tackling environmental issues and promoting sustainable development along the CPEC corridor.
