The Corps Commanders’ Conference reaffirmed Pakistan’s firm commitment to defending its sovereignty and territorial integrity against any external threat or provocation.
Chaired by Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir in Rawalpindi, the forum reiterated that no power could intimidate Pakistan, and the nation would take all necessary steps to protect its strategic interests.
The conference addressed the threat posed by India-backed terrorist elements operating in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It noted that after military setbacks, particularly following the Pahalgam incident, India—while portraying itself as a victim—has intensified the use of proxies to destabilize the region.
The forum vowed that Pakistan would not allow its stability to be compromised by foreign-sponsored terrorism. The Armed Forces, in coordination with intelligence and law enforcement agencies, will aggressively pursue all those involved in terrorist activities and dismantle their networks.
A strategic review of regional security was undertaken, covering the Line of Control, the Working Boundary, and the Eastern Border. The forum condemned ongoing human rights violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, linking them to continued unrest and violence.
The forum emphasized the urgent need for global attention to the deteriorating situation in South Asia and reiterated full diplomatic and moral support for the Kashmiri people’s just struggle for self-determination.
Fateha was offered for the martyrs of Operation Bunyanum Marsoos and the recent terrorist attack in Khuzdar, which claimed the lives of four children and two adults. The act was condemned as a barbaric assault carried out by India-backed militants.
The forum also honored the martyrs who sacrificed their lives during India’s recent aggression, vowing that their sacrifices would not be forgotten and that protecting the people of Pakistan remains the Armed Forces’ top priority.
Congratulations were extended to the Army Chief on his elevation to Field Marshal, recognizing his strategic leadership and vital role in national defense.
A full security assessment was conducted, particularly highlighting the success of Operation Bunyanum Marsoos as a key chapter in Pakistan’s defensive operations.
The forum praised the professionalism and resilience of the Armed Forces and the unity of the nation, which together thwarted aggression with clarity and precision.
It also acknowledged the role of Pakistan’s media and digital defenders for countering Indian disinformation and building public confidence through accurate reporting.
