Chinese Premier Li Qiang is set to participate in the 16th Annual Meeting of the New Champions (AMNC), commonly known as the Summer Davos, which will be held in Tianjin from June 24 to 25, according to a statement by foreign ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun on Monday.
During the event, Premier Li will attend the opening plenary session, deliver a special keynote address, engage in meetings with foreign dignitaries, and hold discussions with international business leaders, Guo stated.
Guo further noted that several global leaders, including Ecuador’s President Daniel Noboa, Singapore’s Prime Minister Lawrence Wong, Kyrgyzstan’s Prime Minister Adylbek Aleshovich Kasymaliev, Senegal’s Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko, and Vietnam’s Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, will be attending the summit.
In addition, the AMNC will host over 1,700 participants from political, business, academic, and media sectors representing more than 90 countries and regions around the world, Guo added.
