A delegation of Chinese police officers visited Safe City Islamabad as part of a study tour aimed at strengthening cooperation between Pakistan and China in modern policing and public safety.
Deputy Inspector General Safe City/DIG Traffic Muhammad Haroon Joya and senior officials briefed the delegation on the Command and Control Center, surveillance camera network and technology-based operations supporting law enforcement across the federal capital.
Officials explained that Safe City Islamabad plays a key role in crime prevention through emergency helplines, facial recognition cameras, e-Challan systems and online police services. The visiting delegation praised Islamabad Police for its advanced security infrastructure and effective urban safety model.
