Chinese FM elaborates on China’s stance on turmoil in Middle East in his meeting with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty in Beijing.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi provided further insight on China’s position regarding the ongoing unrest in the Middle East on Friday.
Wang emphasized that the immediate priority is to halt the violence, establish a ceasefire, and address the humanitarian crisis. He stated that the key solution lies in pursuing political resolutions, renewing dialogue and negotiations, and adhering to the principles of supporting self-determination while rejecting external interference.
These comments were made during a joint press conference with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty in Beijing, where Wang was asked to share China’s perspective on the situation in the Middle East.
