Chinese ambassador calls on FM Ishaq Dar

The Chinese Ambassador, Jiang Zaidong, met with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, where they reaffirmed the importance of the Pak-China All-Weather Strategic Partnership, which forms the foundation of their bilateral relationship.

During the discussions, the two leaders reviewed the progress of CPEC 2.0, an ambitious project designed to boost economic collaboration and regional connectivity. Both sides reiterated their commitment to advancing their partnership and taking their relations to even greater heights.

On behalf of Chinese Foreign Minister H.E. Wang Yi, Ambassador Jiang invited Deputy Prime Minister/FM Dar to attend the upcoming High-Level UN Security Council Event, “Practicing Multilateralism, Reforming and Improving Global Governance,” which will be hosted by China during its UNSC Presidency in New York on February 18, 2025. The Deputy Prime Minister accepted the invitation, emphasizing Pakistan’s commitment to multilateral cooperation.
