More than 7,000 temporary shelters have been constructed following the earthquake that hit Dingri County in southwest China’s Xizang Autonomous Region in early January, completing the setup of transitional housing for displaced residents, local authorities reported on Friday.
As per the local disaster relief headquarters, a total of 7,733 makeshift shelters and 9,941 tents have been erected, providing accommodation for 47,787 people affected by the disaster.
