The nation’s exports experienced a 7.1 percent year-on-year increase, totaling 25.45 trillion yuan (approximately 3.55 trillion U.S. dollars) last year. This marks the eighth consecutive year of export growth, as per the latest GAC data.
Exports to Brazil, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia saw notable rises of 23.3 percent, 19.2 percent, and 18.2 percent, respectively. Trade with ASEAN nations and countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) also grew, recording increases of 13.4 percent and 9.6 percent, respectively.
