China’s diplomatic vision of 2025 will prioritize peace and mutual development aiming to enhance global security as per Wang Yi.
China will continue to prioritize peace, development, cooperation, and mutual benefit in its diplomacy, aiming to foster global peace, stability, and shared progress in the coming year, Foreign Minister Wang Yi stated on Tuesday.
Wang Yi, who is also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, made these remarks during a symposium focused on the international landscape and China’s foreign relations in 2024.
He highlighted that 2025 will mark the 80th anniversary of two significant events: the victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the global anti-fascist war, as well as the founding of the United Nations. These milestones signify a critical juncture in humanity’s historical journey.
Wang also emphasized that amidst global turbulence and conflict, China will remain a steadfast advocate for peace. In response to risks of division and confrontation, it will champion unity. In the face of industrial and supply chain disruptions, it will promote openness. Against unilateral bullying, it will uphold justice. And in the context of ideological divides, China will stand for inclusiveness.
