China’s 2024 Grain Output Hits Record High of 706.5 Million Tonnes, Ensuring Food Security and Economic Growth
In 2024, China has achieved a remarkable milestone in its agricultural production, with its grain output reaching a record high of 706.5 million tonnes. This marks a 1.6 percent increase from the previous year and is the first time in the country’s history that grain production has surpassed 700 million tonnes.
