China and the United Kingdom have agreed to deepen their economic and financial collaboration during the 11th China-UK Economic and Financial Dialogue held on Saturday.
The event was co-chaired by Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng and British Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves, who served as the primary representatives for their respective countries.
Vice Premier He expressed China’s readiness to work with the UK to implement the key agreements reached by their leaders. He emphasized the importance of maintaining their strategic partnership, enhancing communication, and expanding economic and financial cooperation to further promote stable and mutually beneficial bilateral relations.
Chancellor Reeves affirmed the UK’s commitment to strengthening practical cooperation with China in economic and financial domains while fostering a consistent, enduring, and mutually respectful bilateral relationship.
The dialogue resulted in several mutually beneficial agreements and understandings. Both leaders also participated in the fourth China-UK Financial Services Summit.
