The forum’s theme, “Sustainable Transport: Logistics Connecting the World,” is designed to enhance global cooperation and advance the creation of a transport system that is safe, convenient, efficient, green, economical, inclusive, and resilient.
Attendees are expected to present various practical outcomes during the forum, including initiatives aimed at implementing the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and advancing sustainable transport.
The event will also include several technical tours highlighting China’s progress in sustainable transport, featuring innovations in autonomous driving, smart logistics, rural roads, urban-rural passenger transport, and infrastructure at international airports and rail transit.
As China is to host global forum on deepening transportation cooperation, it signifies its position in ramping up green technology.
