China, Singapore pledge to deepen cooperation on industrial park while reflecting on the park’s achievements for the past thirty years.
Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng held a meeting with Singapore’s Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong on Monday in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province.
He, who is also a member of the CPC Central Committee Political Bureau, emphasized leveraging platforms like the Suzhou Industrial Park to implement key agreements made by the two nations’ leaders and strengthen bilateral ties.
Lee highlighted the robust growth in Singapore-China relations under their leaders’ guidance and expressed Singapore’s willingness to collaborate on advancing major cooperative projects, thereby elevating bilateral relations.
Both officials attended the China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park High-Quality Development Forum, reflecting on the park’s achievements over the past 30 years and outlining future cooperation priorities.
They agreed to enhance the park’s role as a leader in innovation and institutional reform, aiming to develop it into a world-class hub for science and technology.
The event concluded with the signing of several cooperation agreements, further cementing the partnership between the two nations.
