China has introduced the Global AI Governance Initiative to address the technological gap and ensure that scientific and technological advancements do not become game of the rich countries and the wealthy, a spokesperson stated on Tuesday.
Expressing its commitment to global cooperation, China is willing to collaborate with other nations to foster the responsible development of artificial intelligence (AI), drive global economic progress, and enhance the well-being of people worldwide, said Lou Qinjian, spokesperson for the third session of the 14th National People’s Congress, during a press conference.
