The Establishment Conference of the SME Entrepreneurship and Management Vocational Education Branch under the China-Pakistan Digital Education Alliance was successfully held from July 7 to 9 in Lanzhou, the capital of Chinaโs Gansu Province.
The event, organized by the Gansu Finance and Trade Professional College (GFTPC), brought together education leaders, institutional partners, and technical experts from both China and Pakistan. The three-day conference focused on deepening bilateral collaboration in vocational education, particularly in the areas of small and medium enterprise (SME) development, digital transformation, and entrepreneurship training.
Key activities during the conference included high-level addresses, a formal signing and unveiling ceremony, and thematic sessions on international cooperation, curriculum innovation, and standard-setting in SME-related disciplines.
This important milestone follows the signing of a Letter of Cooperation between Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (KP-TEVTA) and GFTPC in December 2024. The agreement, facilitated by UNI International, reflects a shared vision to strengthen innovation and skills development under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative.
The conference not only marks a significant step forward in China-Pakistan technical and vocational education and training (TVET) cooperation but also sets the foundation for a shared pool of teaching resources, industry-driven training programs, and long-term academic exchange.
UNI International reaffirmed its commitment to supporting such collaborative initiatives that promote cross-border education, strengthen vocational systems, and empower emerging entrepreneurs and skilled professionals across the region.
