 China-Pakistan Gandhara Art Exhibition to be inaugurated in Beijing
BEIJING, Mar. 15– The Gandhara art exhibition at Palace Museum in Beijing, China will be inaugurated by the Federal Secretary Ministry of National Heritage & Culture Division, Pakistan, Fareena Mazhar. The exhibition, which will be held on March 15, will showcase the cultural heritage of Gandhara, an ancient region that spans parts of modern-day Pakistan, China, and Afghanistan.
The exhibition will feature a wide array of artifacts, sculptures, and other items that are representative of the Gandharan culture. It will also include a multimedia presentation, art installations, and interactive activities to help visitors understand the cultural history of the region. Over 170 art pieces brought from various museums of Pakistan would be showcased at the Palace Museum, Beijing.
The exhibition is organized by the Chinese Ministry of Tourism and Culture and Pakistani National Heritage & Culture Division. The event is also an important part of the Year of Tourism Exchanges being celebrated by China and Pakistan this year. It is expected to be attended by a large number of people from both countries, including government officials, academics, and members of the public.
The Gandhara exhibition is a great opportunity for both countries to learn more about each other’s culture and history. It will also help strengthen the ties between the two nations and promote mutual understanding.
The Pakistani delegation will also visit different historical places in Beijing, including National Museum, Great Wall, Palace Museum, and Summer Palace to understand Chinese culture and art.
