China remains open to engaging and communicating with the newly appointed U.S. administration’s economic and trade team, as stated by the Ministry of Commerce on Thursday.
According to ministry spokesperson He Yadong, China has maintained active communication with the U.S. Department of Commerce through established mechanisms for dialogue and exchange between the two nations.
Reiterating its stance against unilateral tariff measures, China expressed a willingness to enhance dialogue and coordination with the United States. He emphasized the importance of managing differences effectively and fostering sustainable, mutually beneficial economic and trade relations, grounded in mutual respect, peaceful coexistence, and win-win cooperation.
