Beijing hosted a Spring Festival reception for foreign journalists at the Beijing Arts Center. The event was jointly organized by China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Beijing Municipal People’s Government, attended by diplomats, media representatives, and scholars.
Assistant Minister Hong Lei delivered Lunar New Year greetings, emphasizing China’s stability, openness, and commitment to global peace, development, and human well-being under its 15th Five-Year Plan. Foreign journalists were praised as bridges connecting China with the world.
The reception featured around 700 guests, including journalists, embassy press officers, and experts. Attendees enjoyed a festive atmosphere and the “Dragon and Horse Spirit” New Year concert, celebrating cultural heritage and international friendship.
