The Chinese Ministry of National Defense announced on Wednesday that China and Egypt will hold their first-ever joint military training exercise between April and May.
As part of the agreement reached by both militaries, a unit from the People’s Liberation Army Air Force will be sent to Egypt to participate in joint air force training from mid-April to early May, the ministry stated.
This marks a historic milestone in China-Egypt defense relations and is expected to strengthen practical cooperation, as well as deepen mutual trust and friendship between the armed forces of the two nations.
