China has reached a significant breakthrough in mineral exploration with the discovery of the Dadonggou Gold Mine, a massive low-grade deposit located in Liaoning Province, Northeast China. According to the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Dadonggou Gold Mine contains 1,444.49 tons of proven gold, marking it as the largest single gold deposit discovered in China since 1949. This milestone highlights China’s growing capabilities in identifying and developing strategic mineral resources.
Extensive surveys show that the Dadonggou Gold Mine has 2.586 billion tons of gold ore above the -720-meter elevation, with an average grade of 0.56 grams per ton.
